October 2008

Whoa, I still have a webpage

Hello unattended readers, I’m still alive.

The most part of September was spent in a haze of working 40+ hours a week, going on a few trips, and spending every waking moment of free time preparing my house for Domesticity.

I painted nearly the whole interior of the house (with a little help from friends the last few days) in about a week and a half.  I had the carpet replaced (which is why I rushed through the painting).  I’ve installed Blinds, I’ve bought a new couch and matching chair.

The couch and chair were purchased at Goodwill, and surprisingly, look brand new.  They were also priced extremely low.  I think it was a bit of good karma, since I did not sell the Polar Bear Mount code that I recieved at Blizzcon (world of warcraft convention) that I went to a few weeks ago, and instead gave it away.

Next week I’ll be heading off to Boston for Embedded Systems Conference, and then a week after that, I’ll be heading to München Germany for the same show over there.  In Between shows I’ll be heading to Houston to go for the second year in a row to the Houston Area Arcade Expo.  This is not for work, this is for fun.

The end of the year looks like it will be promising.  Things are going really well.

Oh yeah, does anyone know anyone who needs a place to live?  I’ve got a room available.  It’s blue, but I could probably get it painted before someone moves in.
